Those numbers are absolutely damning, and they are on a steep decline even from past Mullen classes

Look at some of the kids we have signed with no SEC offers other than us

Jonathan Banks All SEC NFL all Rookie Team
Darius Slay NFL 2nd round pick
Deonta Skinner 2 year starter at LB
Dillon Day- 3 year Starter
Bernarderick McKinney 2nd team all SEC as a JR
Jameon Lewis gonna be preseason all SEC
Dak Prescott (Only got LSU at the last minute)
Blaine Clausell- 3 year starter
Josh Robinson will be starting RB in 2015
Malcolm Johnson 3 year starter at TE
Josh Malone will start at OG this fall
Jameon Love 3 year starter at DB intercepted JFF twice
Taveze Calhoun- 2 year starting corner

Good point. They were a huge part of your 6-6 team this year

I think any MSU fan will admit that this years recruiting class was a letdown, and not very good. But to say MSU is on a steep decline because of it is an exaggeration.

Actually we finished 7-6

Just like you guys were last year. And we were 8-5 last year.

As much as you don't want to admit it our programs are pretty much very close right now and we both could easily win anywhere from 7 to 10 games next year if things fell our way.

I said this particular class was a steep decline. Y'all certainly have the chance to sign a good class next year with all the talent in MSU strongholds, and if y'all bomb again next year you might as well fire Mullen on the spot.

Correct. State will stay the same. The decline occurs when OM's talent wins in Starkville in '15. There is no way to mark a decline at state other than losing 3 out of 4 to OM. They went 6-6 last year and are as high on their program as ever

he doesn't have the talent ole miss has

After recruiting for four years against a guy who had only been recruiting for a year-and-a-half?

Definitely not a good sign for State's future, then.

yet still whipped them on the field.

"Whipped" is an interesting term to use here.

I could see him winning 8 with ole miss' talent.

So you can see him doing exactly what Hugh Freeze did?

So, you're trending down. Ole Miss is trending up. Solid point.

So we're close to the same level 2 years removed from Freeze inheriting an absolutely decimated program? That's interesting. How do you see it playing out over the next few years?

You're so Rebsessed that you've resorted to Dakriding State. This is hilarious.

They try to make themselves feel better with this bs shite about recruiting rankings don't matter. I've heard some say they'd rather have a hard working two or three star over a five star any day. They are pathetic

Make ourselves feel better? LOL. Go look at the recruiting thread and come back and tell us that we are satisfied with how we are currently recruiting and what excuses we are using.

Oh, BTW.

Jesus Christ Bundy...

You make good points when you point out guys like Gabe Jackson and Jonthan Banks, but just saying stuff like "Taveze Calhoun has started for two years" doesn't prove a goddamn thing.

Great! He's starting...

...for a bad football team.

This is true. They only get defensive when OM fans rub it in their faces. Besides ED, they all seem pretty disappointed in this class and demand improvement

I think people are high on the program because MSU returns a lot of people, plus the favorable schedule. The majority of people are not bragging about going 7-6.

You'd find few Ole Miss fans willing to argue against that point.

The difference is the trajectory of our programs. We went from 7 wins to 8 wins, while pulling in two top-15 classes. Y'all went from 8 to 7 while signing a bunch of muffin diamonds who now don't even have the opportunity to be Balis Made.

Y'all are celebrating barely making bowl eligibility in Dan Mullen's fifth year as your head coach. I swear we won't be sneaking into bowl eligibility by the skin of our dicks in Hugh Freeze's fifth year. That's the difference.

I was talking about the LSU/MSU streak mr butthurt

1 win is hardly a streak unless your an ole miss fan talking about last years win over LSU.
