Really? I have not heard about LSU other than how he's taking an official there. But isn't he also taking one to NC State. I thought it was UK out front, followed by KU with a blind shot in the dark by the in-state schools.

LSU had a legit shot when we had Robert Kirby. He left for Memphis last year. It appeared we were out until we added Blakney to the class with Simmons.
Now it's likely all speculation, and he heads to Lexington for a year or two, but LSU could be a threat if the dominos fall. LSU's class atm is going to be lethal next year. If martin and mickey leave, which is not set in stone given their draft stock atm , we have Simmons and Craig Victory(available in January) to replace them.

I got ya. I don't follow basketball recruiting as closely as football. I just read what our mods and occasionally national guys say, so I'm typically out of the loop.

That's exactly what you're doing. There is no reason to believe LSU is in his top 3 other than we have two really good players committed and he picked us as one of his 5 officials. Really, it's a top 2 and everyone else.

Ricky Ray has been on Malik for 3 straight years. State is still right in the mix, just watch and see come April.
