So when you said "wish the kid wanted a championship" who were you referring to?

Unless this kid is the missing piece to a championship or something, he's not worth the time or the scholarship. He'll come in, give you half-assed effort for one season and then he's off to the NBA.

Seems like the type of kid that would get you in trouble down the line when it comes out that "surprisingly" he was talking to agents while he was in college.

The more I look at his "recruitment" I feel the same way. The fact that he hasn't even tried to use his officials tell me that this is just a necessary evil in his mind. He doesn't want to be in college and he doesn't really care where he goes. Would have loved him before we got Sampson, but now I wouldn't want to waste the scholarship for a year on him if we can get a PF instead.

If you read what I said, I'd rather him at MSU. I have to worry about losing to him at Kentucky.

Kinda like how we beat you without Newman last year.

Well, signing a #1 class would certainly be a move in the right direction.

Yeah. That's a valid argument for the time frame. Since then he's made it clear that he doesn't care for the tournament. Also, you didn't mention any one in any thread eating crow all you said was "LSU fans." I don't post in every thread I read but both parties were being bitches in that thread.

Love how you ignore my last statement and refer back to my first post because you have ditto on the last thing I said.
True or false. Kentucky and LSU probably make the tournament and MSU probably doesn't?

"why would he go play for a NIT in Starkville when he can compete for a natty with us"

This is still a valid question

When has he made this clear? With Howland, our entire team returning, Malik, and Kasongo, we could be a tournament team, and maybe Howland has sold him on that.

Competing for a natty is hard as a 5 or 6 seed, especially with Johnny "I recruit talent but cant coach talent" Jones.

Have I talked you out of posting a comment with a point or value? cause you have yet to generate a rebuttal that shows your not ignorantly pointless to talk to.

He made it clear when he stressed that he must play PG, entertained the idea of going over seas, being a 1 and done no matter what. Yeah Howland could have him sold but your factoring in Kasango and Malik into it which those two are not guranteed so it's not really a selling point.

Not really. Most OM fans know he's not coming here.

But it would be pretty cool if he did. I just don't see it happening.

Still waiting for you to explain who you were referring to when you said "wish he wanted to play for championships".

Congrats MSU. I think MSU is a much better fit for Malik. After watching him in the All Star games, you can tell the kid just isn't a point guard. He's much more comfortable looking for his own shot. At MSU he'll be able to not just the man, but the only man. He's been hard wired to score first and ultimately he wouldn't be able to utilize his skill set to his fullest capabilities at LSU.

Was just wondering if there was some last minute buzz on that end.
