I hear Chattabama is really butthurt over LSU locking the best talent before the Alabama staff has time to follow in their footsteps.

Not really, but if you want to believe that you can. You said yourself this thread was made in jest. It's ridiculous how early these offers are going out, and yes, that includes Alabama offers. They should wait until freshman year minimum before offering.

ETA And if you call getting a commitment "locking someone down", then you haven't been paying attention.

Maybe your pal should post this on the LSUrb if you don't want to hear discussion from other fanbases.

Oh a ha ha

I hear Saban is offering kindergartners Cecil Scrum, 10, of Skunk Lip, and Eugene Platz, 11,
of Possum Heights, Skoal-Spitting scholarships for the class of 2032.

Oh, really? Well, why don't you just tell them, big shot? I'll just sit back and celebrate when they get commits from top prospects.

I am actually enjoying your whimpering in here. Feel free to continue.

I think your brethren have done enough of that in this thread. Look at how butthurt they (and you) get when I post. It's cute.

Uh oh. LSU offered more 2018 kids over the weekend. They were on a tear in Florida. That now makes 9 offers for 2018 and two commits already. It looks like they aren't listening to ole Chattabama.

Hey if that's what you want, go for it. I just think kids shouldn't commit until they truly have explored all of their options and are mature enough to handle an adult decision on their own without pressure from the adults in their lives. This includes UA offers.

That's called having a non-homer opinion. Try it sometime.

"Zadoch Dinkelmann"

What a fantastic fricking name. I'm being completely honest when I say this is the first time I've been jealous of another person's name.

I can't help but think of the Cone Heads from SNL. I hope this kid turns out to be a complete beast. The highlights and headlines would be epic.

I was using exaggeration to drive home a point. When are we going to allow middle schoolers to be middle schoolers without forcing them to make adult decisions? Can an eighth/ninth grader really make an informed decision about where he wants to go to college?
