He was horrible, fell below walk ons on the depth chart in the spring and decided to leave.

Could never adjust to the climate here either.

Actually see you are recruiting all 3 of the guys we sent to Arizona Western...

Garrett sucks, no idea why Chavis would want to recruit him again. Like I said, fell behind walk ons on the depth chart when we have no depth at LB here. Also could never adjust to the climate here supposedly.

Valentine is a GREAT talent who never got it done in the classroom. He was a partial qualifier here and in the year he spent trying to qualify fully apparently missed a lot of class so we told him to take a hike. If you can get him to go to class - I think he can be great.

Trey LMFAO - no telling how good or bad he is because he spent more time in trouble here than he did on the football field. Dude is flat out a headcase.

He really likes college, just not college football.

Especially if he had trouble with the heat he should probably look at some big ten schools if that's a concern. I'm not on 247 so I don't know what they posted but all I had seen was that we were in contact with him. He might be backup option if we miss on Divinity and McCulloch, I dunno

Valentine is the one I want the most since it looks like we are out on Oliver

I thought we had passed on LMFAO out of high school so I'm surprised we are after him honestly. We had a very clean offseason behavior wise which was really nice after the Claiborne and Golden thuggery.

Thank you for the info!

He managed to enjoy joes and drinks at Reggie's more than an athlete should

LMFAO had a nice history here -

Stole a bike on campus, claimed he thought it was a communal bike (arrested)

Broke a window in the weight-room after getting angry and punched it (lacerated his arm so bad he had to go get stitches and miss a few weeks)

Outside a bar found a guy that was passed out and was going through his pockets, girlfriend shows up and he punched her in the face (got arrested)

That was it, kicked off

Never played a down as he redshirted his freshman year

This was the program trying to put a nice spin on "had trouble with conditioning after spending three nights a week in Tigerland pounding shots and black & milds." He's just not very serious about becoming a good football player, and his physical skills were overhyped initially due to lesser competition.

Yep. TV is the only one of the three worth wasting any time on IMO.

I doubt Valentine will ever take college seriously. He also has a big weight problem and can't keep it down at all. Chavis trying to re-recruit his old players that were kicked out of LSU should tell you how good of a recruiter he is.

As is the case with LSU, our position coaches do the majority of the recruiting. We've been over this We also haven't offered any of them that I've seen. I find it hard to believe we want either of the DTs that bad since we are pretty deep there

There is a 0% chance Trey LMFAO ends up at A&M.

Funny enough he's been the most productive of the 3 at Arizona Western so far with 12 tackles, 2 TFL, 0.5 sack through 3 games.

Garrett at MLB has 9 tackles, 2 TFL, 1 sack in 3 games.

Valentin 6 tackles, 1 TFL, 1 sack in 3 games.

Their defense doesnt seem very good through 3 games (nor the offense).

For all I care he could be the next Vince Wilfork, it's not worth taking a risk on someone who clearly has mental issues

Clifton struggled at the all American practices and games. That should have been a warning sign for things to come

it doesnt matter how productive lmfao is at arizona western, he wont be at a&m...

It's not a position of need by any means. Sumlin has already shown a reluctance to take transfers with those kind of issues.

I think we are just covering our bases with Garrett..

Hamm is just talking out his arse with the lmfao stuff though

Have people forgotten the new SEC rule banning violent thugs after the Jonathan Taylor situation at Alabama? If a kid punched a girl in the face, it is doubtful he could get into any SEC school with the new rule in place

2015 isn't a very good year for DT or LB in Texas according to the recruiting websites. Ed Oliver is the only elite player, followed by the Hulk kid that commited to Bama. Jackson and McCollough seem to be the only elite LBs. Makes since that they would offer these JUCOs. Looks like this staff is moving on to evaluate 2017 and 2018 HS talent, which appears better than 2016.
