LSU RB recruiting #s since Miles took over.

Looks like the theory of Miles not taking a RB just for LF is false. 2013 was not the first time LSU didnt sign a RB in a recruiting class.

2005-1
2006-3
2007-1
2008-0
2009-1 and RS10 if you count him
2010-3
2011-3 (but jeremy hill didn't enroll)
2012-1 (jeremy hill enrolled)

2008 didnt have a RB and we only signed 2 over a three year period 2007-2009, 3 if you count RS10 as a RB. Hill was the only guy in 2012 if you count him as part of that class. Regardless, LSU has always had good depth at RB.

So much for that theory.

You can say what you want about the "theory" it's still inexcusable

And again I'll assert that you are giving Les way too much credit for foresight in recruiting

Again Bucc, you're beating a poorly formed opinion into the ground. LSU has had some of the best depth in the country at RB. LSU will continue to have some of the best depth in the country at RB. We've already shown you a recent precendent where LSU did not sign any backs in a class, and the depth chart at LSU never skipped a beat. We'll sign 3 this year. Just stop man, continuing to harp on it makes it look like there is a touch of butthurt that LSU is going to sign an RB that is more highly regarded than any of the 4 guys Bama signed this year and I know that's not the case.

Watch the playoff game against St. Thomas this year and you will see why the comparisons are legit.

I posted facts and your posting butthurt homer opinions and claiming Miles doesn't know how to evaluate talent longterm. What does that even mean?

Your clueless and butthurt that Miles has put LSU in prime position to land the best kid La has produced in a decade. DWI.

Stupidest thing I have read on here. Yeah, he's certainly consistently left us in huge trouble recruiting wise, are you f*cking serious?

bucc is making no sense and coming off as a huge homer. I thought he had gotten better about his homerism until this thread.

Claiming Miles not taking a RB is "inexcusable" after I showed him Miles has done it before and didnt have an issue with RB depth.

You must've missed his signing day prediction thread. He's probably still waiting on Vanderdoes and Tony Conner to send in their LOI

Unless he signs with Bama, that is.

Bama fans can't stomach the idea of not getting the best RB on the board.

Don't take this personally, but you really don't know what you are talking about.

He will be a top 10 NFL draft pick if he stays healthy.

For as much as Bama fans call us defensive, you guys sure do a pretty good job of being it yourselves.

To answer the OP: Fournette is pretty good.

How do LSU fans think it will affect LF if LSU loses like 5 or 6 games this year? Very possible since its a rebuilding yr for LSU

But has anyone seen Fournette live? Is the AP talk just hype?

Watched him play and the guy is dominant. Everyone knows he is getting the ball and he still runs over, around, and away from people.

The problem with that comparison is people compare LF to AP when he was coming out of highschool, not what he is now in the NFL, and others miss that fact. I think AP was a little faster, but LF looks like the real deal during games. He's legit. Time will tell if he is as good as previous RBs. LSU is selling out to get get him. He will be a feature back at LSU, assuming he comes here. Should he choose to go elsewhere, it would probably be the biggest rant meltdown seen to date.

The way Miles has that offense rotate running backs, you'll be lucky to see Fournette get 100 carries in a single season.

05 - Addai - 187 carries
06 - combination of Hester, Williams, Broussard
07 - Hester - 225 carries
08 - Scott - 217 carries
09 - Scott - 116 carries
10 - Ridley - 249 carries
11 - Ware - 177 carries, Ford - 127 carries
12 - Hill - 142 carries (didn't really start playing until last 7 games, avg. 18 carries/gm)

Miles has shown when he has a feature RB, that he will feed him the ball.

Guys, they are clearly trolling. Stop getting hook, line, and sinkered into their trollship. They know he'll be packing sec fudge for the next 3 years.

The thing that strikes me is how LSU constantly said they had the best backfield because they had 5 SEC caliber running backs.

Now it's all about potentially having the best 1 running back.

Just make up your mind already.
