Not really. Unless you buy into the Saban-got-Crutch-the-HC-job-so-he-would-steer-LF-to-Bama conspiracy theories.

While CNS did write him a letter of recommendation, didn't I read that either Les or Frank Wilson did the same thing?

I promise you this much,if not for the connections NS made while at LSU, Bama wouldn't stand a chance.

Connections always help. But even if CNS hadn't been at LSU, Burton Burns would give us a chance.

Didn't either Frank or Les write Crutch a letter?

Yea why would a running back give a school the time of day that's had it's previous three starters picked first at that position in the draft and won 3 national titles in that time frame. Y'all act like its a birthright to play at lsu if you're from Louisiana.

So, what's the deal with this kid?

Bama/LSU battle?

Home state team in LSU v. RB Factory at Bama and connections to the HS?

Both teams have fairly similar offensive schemes that put a premium on the RB. Bama typically has the better OL's, so it makes their RB's look a little better. Should be an interesting matchup. Will like watching this one unfold.

Maybe the kid wants to attend LSU,ever thought of that? Not everyone wants to play for the Tide dude,as difficult as that may be for you to accept.

I think it's a safe bet that LSU, Frank Wilson and Miles have a few more contacts on the St Aug faculty than burns and his daughter.

Closer to the Fournette family also.

a kid on St. Aug's team told me that Leonard announced to his team after one of their playoff wins last year that he would be attending LSU. I know kids change their minds all the time now a days but he made it pretty clear.

Maybe be does. 25 or so kids every year do, it's conceivable and expected that he'll sign with lsu. Counting out Alabama on the recruiting trail is a slippery slope though

False.

Maybe he'll show up for the LSU@Bama game though.
