Texas guys on 247 saying they lead as of tonight. They say people close to Adams feel we're too late. Say this weekend will have to blow him away for LSU to lead (covering their arse of course)
What's the deal with Texas sorantable? You've likely followed his recruitment more than us LSU fans since we are a little late. I thought I remembered reading a while back Texas slow played him early and it upset him.

Nobody from the Adams, Ed Paris, Brandon Simmons, and Tony Brown group was ever going to Texas after the way Texas handled Brandon Simmons's recruitment.

There are four elite level DBs in Texas this year. Tony Brown, Jamal Adams, Ed Paris, and Brandon Simmons. (Simmons is going to Stanford I believe.)
Anyway, of course these guys all know each other real well over the years, etc. Anyway, the rumor is that Texas didn't show Simmons any love at all early on or did something to piss him off. Again Rumor is that it upset Simmons enough that it bothered the other guys badly as well and they made a pact to not go to Texas because of it.

Texas don't know what they are talking about Les has been on Brown,Paris, and Adams since the recruiting period. Raymond still kept in contact with him just in case he changed his mind from Florida.
