He had already switched. Why would our twitter whackos (yes, I'm sure we have a few) take the time to impersonate Arky retards instead of just celebrating the victory against them?

If Frazier wants to be an Aggie, he better get on the phone soon. Aggie spots are filling up quickly.

It's more like "Uncle Joe" who works at the car dealership owned by a hardcore Arkie. If his nephew goes to Arkie vs leaving for out of state could make his life a lot easier or harder in some cases. It's not like he would be fired or made General Manager but certainly the owner would rather brag about how their employee's nephew is the big Arkansas local hero football player instead of the guy that left to go to a rival.
This certainly isn't exclusive to Arkie either, happens everywhere. It's just more prevalent in a state that has one major school and produces limited amounts of blue chips. I remember Scott Frost went through Hell when he went to Stanford instead of staying home at Nebraska and eventually transferred back.

All this drama has been fun, but I doubt that Frazier picks A&M. I doubt that A&M is even second in the race.

Cmon a&m is at least in his top 2 with arky

I think Arkansas and A&M are clearly his top two. The thing that could throw a wrench in both of our plans is if USC makes a legit hire.
If Arkansas somehow lands Frazier then it will be a HUGE recruiting win for Bielema and Partridge. Just over a year ago this kid was not even remotely considering Arkansas and would openly root against us when Petrino was our coach.
The ground that Bielema has made up in less than a year is pretty remarkable considering we aren't even a top half of the SEC team right now.

He'll pick Arky only if he is okay playing for a loser that takes regular arse whippings.

We just got a commit from his teammate and good friend Jake Hall. Frazier said they have thought about playing together in college, so I think that's a good plus for us.

Stop flaming on the recruiting board. Take that to the rant if you have to talk shite.

Keep that in your back pocket to console yourself with. It will take CBB a couple of years, but he's building this thing right - from the lines out.

I just don't see BB being able to get enough of the right kinds of talent to compete in the West with power football. Bama, LSU, A&M, and Auburn all have a distinct recruiting advantage over Arkie for 90% of the recruits they need. Ole Miss is about even. How is BB going to be able to build it against that level of competition?
With Petrino he had an offensive driven scheme that didn't require going in to beat out all those schools for big hoss players. Instead he could get some of them but made his bones getting athletes he could develop that had speed and ran a system that was difficult to defend, especially when teams didn't see it every week.
BB is essentially trying to do what Bama and LSU have done except with less talent. I just don't see how that works. I also don't see the patience lasting too long with his antics combined with getting spanked on a regular basis. By the end of next season if some results aren't showing BB is going to be lucky to survive.

I just don't see the logic behind this argument, and it's made so often when referencing how Arkansas can't "out Alabama & LSU, Alabama and LSU." Good line play is good line play no matter the system, and quite honestly, I believe that what you see offensively from Arkansas now will look quite different in the future. Sure, we will still try to run it down your throats with a power game, but there will be elements of play-action and other things when we get better wide receiver play. I just refuse to believe that what we are seeing now offensively is what we will always see. I'm just so sick of that "out Alabama and LSU" line of reasoning. He's just trying to build great offensive and defensive line play. Who doesn't want that?

You still need a quality quarterback to run the offense.
Unless Peavy is the 2nd coming of Jameis Winston, Johnny Manziel, A.J. McCarron, or Marcus Mariota, you're stuck with Brandon Allen and A.J. Derpy.

Nothing "wrong with that" except it is reliant on getting top notch OL and DL for that to work. He will get a few but is up against a tough challenge in the West trying to get bigger, stronger, and more athletic guys on the line than his primary competition. Essentially it will be a line of 3 and maybe 4 stars against lines of 4 and 5 stars when he plays Bama, LSU, and A&M. That's a tough way to win.
With Petrino's offense it was less necessary to get those guys because it wasn't all about power football. The focus instead was on skill player talent which is easier to develop and recruit than Line talent.
Good luck with all that.
