Seems to me like LSU will have their pick of the CB's this year. McFadden, Lewis, Smitherman, and obviously Tolliver II.

We definitely need some CBs in this class because if both Rashard Robinson and T. White left after the 2015 season, there would be two open starting spots at CB. (Well one really because KT2 will be one of them...)

We didn't really take a true corner in the 2014 class either so we'll see who develops as one.

Seems almost a certainty that Paris will play there right? The less we see of Collins the better.

Collins didn't really see the field at all last year except special teams. Minus injury from Robinson, White, or Mills special teams is likely where he's going to stay.

Paris says that the coaches are saying he'll start out at CB, but it just seems like everyone thinks he is a better fit for S at this point. Hopefully he does fit at CB once we see/hear from him at Spring practices because that's where we'll need him most. Between Adams, Battle, and Voorhies we've got enough of high level and young talent coming in at S.

He did earlier in the year.

Is at safety now. Do you expect him to be the nickel CB and someone else step in at safety when they go nickel?

Only because Rashard had only been practicing for a couple weeks.

Rashard is going to be a beast. Like PP7 type shutdown, take away half the field good. Hopefully Tre can emulate his cousin Da Clay Pigeon, Mo Claiborne and take advantage of forced throws to his side.

I know Mills played exclusively at S in the bowl game, but I wasn't sure if that was a permanent move. If it is, then we're even thinner at CB. Dwayne Thomas looks promising coming off the edge and I assume he would be the Nickel if Mills moves to S permanently.

I guess my point is that we have a lot more guys on the roster who look to be a better fit at the S position than the CB position. We will have much more depth at S than CB. I do hope that Paris fits at CB and look forward to hearing how he looks in Spring.

My concern again was really for in the future like 2016 and beyond so that is why I was saying that we need true CBs in this class.

Miles said that it probably was.

Toliver is related to two former LSU players, is recruiting for LSU, and his favorite player is patrick peterson. He is friends with most of this past recruiting class. He isnt going anywhere other than LSU
