Good for Auburn, might be good for UGA with Bishop. We'll take it!

They did earlier, he said it went well but they couldnt convince him to OV it seems.

He's a good player, will do well at Auburn.

Bishop doesn't want to play QB anymore. Shouldn't have much effect on him. With that said though, still a good possibility he flips

Who is the top target for UF now.

UF already won the east twice, an improved offense and it could get very interesting.

QB wise? At this point we're hoping Franks or Trask can step in next season at QB

Jake Allen is our QB commit for this class and it appears we are looking to possibly add another transfer not sure if we will recruit another HS player. Prob depends on the situation.

Also as I don't watch Auburn that much since we never play, but doesn't you offense need the QB to be a good runner? IDK how good of a runner Stidham is but White doesn't appear to be a true dual threat.

I hate to say I do not get to watch Florida much either. I hate that because I used to love our games against each other.

Stidham is supposed to be DT, he did break his ankle in one game his freshmen year. What you are referring to has been a pretty big argument within the fanbase. Some say Gus can adapt to a non-running qb (he did at other schools). I am of the opinion his system works best with a real threat to run at qb. That is not Sean White, he can run in spots, but I cringe every time he "slides" before a hit.

All that being said, the offense was looking pretty good when White was healthy, but we had not backup. Best case scenario in my mind is Stidham starts and White stays as the backup. Given the risks with running quarterbacks, it would be fair to say there is a good chance the backup would start at least some games.

No shite, I get aggravated as hell when I think about how little we play Auburn. You guys were our oldest rival, but I understood you picking UGa instead of us as your permanent rival. I think both Fla and Ga wanted Auburn. Fla vs Auburn was a great game every year.

I forget that Gus was a passing guy and butted heads with Nutt when he was at Arkansas about the passing vs running. It sucks that I only really keep up with LSU and A&M from the West on the reg, and only A&M because I live in Texas.

Back to the topic at hand. Stidham appears to be the real deal, so congrat's to Auburn for snagging him.

Promising a kid he can compete to be the starter is not the same as promising one he will be the starter. ESPECIALLY one who has already proven he does not want to be the backup like Stidham.

LOL. If you knew Gus like AU fans do he would NEVER promise anyone a starting job. He treats Seniors like he owes them the world. We played a bunch of crap wide receivers just bc they were Srs this year.

UGA offense scored 2 field goals against AU. Eason didnt do shite. Sean White beat Auburn because of his bum shoulder he couldnt throw the ball 10 yards and Maurice Smif wound up with a happy birthday pick six.
