I would gladly take the recruits we missed out on but it def was not "the decline" everyone made it out to be. LSU and Bama were supposedly fricked but ended up with #1 and #2 recruiting classes.

Are you telling me that LSU players are the only ones that don't smoke weed? Honey badger disagrees. Stupid bump is stupid.

the big 3 LSU missed on have combined for 2 arrests and a 14 on an ACT

BUMP IS JUSTIFIED-I wouldn't trade any of those guys for the the ones we signed instead

(nothin else to talk about anyway)

And what will you be saying when one of your signees inevitable gets in trouble?

Ermahgersh Tony Brown plays his music loudly and yells at a cop for arresting his friend.
Ermahgersh Speedy smokes pot.

Don't be naive and think that all of your guys are high character kids who will never get in trouble.
As a Bama fan I am thankful for every week that goes by that we don't have one of our players arrested for doing something stupid.

Sure, that's true. But isn't it interesting that those exact 3 players have been in some sort if trouble in just a few weeks?

If the UA game was indicative of anything it's that Fournette might be overhyped

Interesting? Not really. The reason they didn't end up at LSU is because they didn't want to, not because of any character flaw. If Les was willing to sign the ones who got in trouble, what does that say about the character of the rest of the group.

I don't understand the grudges people hold against kids for choosing a different school than they wanted. Tony Brown lied to LSU coaches? So what. Jamal Adams lied to Florida coaches, but I haven't heard any LSU fans complain about his character.

I said I said...I wouldn't trade any of the recruits we actually got for the ones we missed on getting. & after I posted that-those same 3 recruits proved me right by their actions- Plain & simple facts. Think about it. It's not hard

Remind me to bump this thread whenever one of your signees does something stupid. You know it's coming.

I wasn't excusing his behavior. What he did was dumb. Did you do anything stupid in college? I know I did.

And no, I don't think doing one thing wrong means he has character issues. It's common for kids who have had to take on a lot of responsibility at a younger age to act out when they are free of that responsibility. I'll wait a few years and see if he matures before labeling him with "character issues." Since you are a fan of the university where Honey Badger attended, I suggest you do the same.

I love how long this thread has lasted despite it being such a "non-issue"
