I really wanted Tony, would have gladly taken Hootie & CR. That said, have been ambivalent about Cam from the start. He is "good" but he is not equal to his rating. Since Tony seemed to have both legal & physical problems right out of the box, I figure LSU may have dodged a bullet on him. I expect Hootie to do well but it will not surprise me if CR fails to live up to the hype. Time will tell.

I wouldn't trade any of our 2014 LSU recruits for...
any of those we "missed" on. The UA all star game was a blessing in disguise
btw, I heard he just scored a 26 on his ACT
scholar athlete with a mean streak

I eman i would probably trade a few for them, but there are guys at each of the position we missed on that we got someone as good, with the exception of Tony Brown, but who knows how his eyes will recover from getting maced.

Gerald Willis Update!!!! (Posted on 2/11/14 at 2:09 pm)
It was reported that he may not qualify because of a low ACT score. It has been said that he scored a 14. Well, that is incorrect. Sources now said he actually scored an 11!!!!! UF is hoping for some sort of miracle that he will become qualified on an ACT re-test, and his family is not ready to admit it, but he is almost assured to be JUCO bound!!! Source says his latest expulsion at his high school was for refusing to wear a school uniform, which ALL students are required to wear!!!! The expulsion was later changed to a suspension. He was expelled because they have become fed up with his behavior over the years, and they no longer can use him for football!
------------------------------------------------------
Kinda my point

This pretty much sums up the thread. A lot of butthurt and jealously from OP and supporting cast.

Texas A&M football players Isaiah Golden and Darian Claiborne were arrested over the weekend and blue chip recruit Devante (Speedy) Noil was detained after an incident involving marijuana, alcohol, and parking in a handicap parking space was reported. Here is how TMZ Sports reports it, according to the cops:
quote:
Isaiah Golden (DL), Darian Claiborne (LB) and Devante Noil (WR) were all inside of a silver Infinity parked in a handicap space at an apartment complex in College Station around midnight.
According to the police report, an officer approached the car ... and smelled weed. He detained all 3 players, along with another man, and proceeded to search the car.
The cop says he found weed along with a bottle of brandy ... which is a problem since all of the men are under 21.
Isaiah Golden was arrested for possession of marijuana (cops say he was in possession of 1.9 grams).
Claiborne was arrested for a "noise violation" after being very loud and yelling during the investigation.
Noil was let go by the police.

He's proving a point. ULSU does NOT recruit people with shaky character issues
