Joker, this is a forum to discuss recruiting. A kid that chooses Boise over the traditional powers is worth discussing.

Especially considering, he never visited, they just lost their HC. Harsin of all people is the new coach and Harsin was garbage at tu.

All that said, it brings you to the obvious, he committed to Marcel Yates not A&M. Sumlin built his staff based on recruiting ability and when guys leave for other jobs it makes sense that they will take a few kids with them.

My understanding is he looked Yates up on the internet, and went to him because of his track record of sending guys to the NFL.

If the kid feels he has done his research and Yates is his best shot at a football career I am not going to question his thought process.

Honestly that is way more research than a ton of college kids do- the kinds that follow their friends, or a piece of arse, or what their parents want, etc.

Boise is actually a pretty cool town. I imagine it's pretty fun to go to college there.

Discussing sure but labeling him stupid like the OP did just because he picked Boise over CS is not what this forum is for.
