I agree with the spirit of the OP's thought process, here you have this kid who can basically punch his ticket anywhere and he chooses to go to Boise State never even having visited.
It isn't rational, it doesn't make sense.

First of all, English, motherfricker, DO YOU SPEAK IT?!
Secondly, not only did they just lose their coach, but they are trending down as a program in a conference where you have to not only go unbeaten, but you also have to have a ridiculously high rating in order to even be considered for the playoff.
