I would wait and see who else, other than Andrew Bone, thinks Hootie Jones is coming back to Alabama...

Andrew Bone is a moron.

Hootie sure fricked up his recruitment that's for sure.

IMO, he got caught in the CRobb and Sims bama love fest, and committed.

More than likely he was an LSU guy though.

Reached out to LSU, and the coaches moved on to Adams.

It is what it is.

Bone seems to have gotten better with his predictions since he moved over to Rivals.

True. A lot of LSU fans were upset and disappointed after he committed to Bama, but those who aren't absolute tards appreciated that he wasn't jackass immediately afterwards, and that he gave the staff time to adjust plans. If it had just played out and Bama got Hootie and LSU Adams, everyone would be pretty happy.

Then all this drama. Despite what his momma says, his actions sure make him look like an attention whore, whether he is or not. Good luck to him, wherever he goes. Except when playing LSU.

I thought he would likely end up back at Bama after I saw his interview with Farrell where he said he was just taking time to make sure

Well he has about 5-6 days to decide/announce.

Congrats to whoever gets him.

Adams is first with LSU now with that being said Hootie and Adams have been tight at UA practice. So maybe after everything shakes out Hootie might be offered but it depends on Thurs.

) I think LSU ignored his phone calls.

There was speculation that Hootie actually never made the call. It was someone helping him during his recruitment that called to gage LSU interest. I believe two things caused the negative response 1. Hootie should have called himself. I think the staff felt it was a bit suspect that Hootie himself, didn't call. The staff worked Hootie really hard. The LSU staff wasn't to fond of some of the comments made. In reality they weren't terrible but rubbed the staff the wrong way. All of a sudden his camp is calling LSU wanting back in. I think the staff was suspect. 2. The LSU staff made some real progress with Adams. Adams recruitment really heated up after the Hootie commitment. I think the staff is really excited about Adams and doesn't want to mess it up.

No doubt, Hootie is a heck of a player and a team will be lucky to get him, but his recruitment has been really weird. With Bama missing on Hampton, I think Saban reels him back in.

Sounds like some of The Board Nannies here.
Not mentioning any names of course, but thin skin and feminine hygiene products abound.
Bottom line-He got a little too fancy and he may land HARD at his third option.
It's almost always better to dance with the one who brung ya.
It's a cautionary tale. Les will use it to his advantage in the future.
As he should.
