I thought there was no way in hell we would lose Tony Brown. I got a weird feeling from Gerald Willis and always thought Speedy wat A&M bound, but I really didn't see the Tony Brown thing coming.

Doesn't matter though, couldn't cover Malachi at the Opening and won't be able to cover him the next 3 to 4 years.

I understand how hard it is to choose schools dice a number of friends had that problem. Evans though had been telling a lot of people he was coming to AU and never backed off that up to his announcement. Combined with the grandpas bday and invited AU recruits, I just think it was fricked up.

I think he would have excelled at either school but he fits well with the Bama system. Just wish he would have conducted his recruitment so the burr hurt wouldn't have gone on. I mean he brought it upon himself

I could see that. Rumors from our side is that he told Reuben Foster he was coming to Bama on his OV. That was before his OV to AU (I think) and it was before the birthday party. I think he was probably still wavering a bit on that decision, but that is when he started telling people from our side he's coming.

Look, even Bama had some recruits screw us over this year. We told Davion Hall to kick rocks because we were so confident in landing CJ Hampton. He told our side he was coming, only to decommit from OM two days before his announcement to recommit to them. We had Stephen Roberts recruiting for Auburn while technically being a Bama commit. We had Travis Rudolph telling our staff he was coming, that he was always a "roll tide fan". Meanwhile he told FSU staff that he was just trolling Bama and that he would announce for FSU.

It's unfortunate that recruiting has become this circus. No teams are immune. Unfortunately the adults in these situations don't act mature either.

Not sure ill ever forgive the staff for letting this kid get away. I don't care how many RBs we have on the roster.

You sure did 3 days before he announced though.

Tony brown.

I wish the coaches could as a collective agree to not tolerate this shite but it would never happen.

I had a good feeling for Jordan Jenkins going to Bama.

Winston was a lock to Bama in my eyes up until his Sr year

I thought Alabama would get tre Williams because St. Paul's is pro Alabama. I wonder if he would have fit a 4-2-5 or a 3-4 better

Fourmette. I bet bannage on him without being a dick about it and even said I think bama stands well with brown (on the bama board) and some thought I was trolling.
