Terrence Edwards is without question the 2nd best WR in UGA history, and if it weren't for AJ Green would be #1. Yet all people want to remember are 2 drops he had.
I bet you're one of those people in the stands who yells "dammmiit bobo, i coulda called better than that!!!!" after every incomplete pass but doesn't even clap when we call an 80 yard drive to perfection.

What are you babbling about?
Artie Lynch had many drops and was inconsistent as hell. He should never be on the same list as the other guys mentioned.

Mizzou was down by 4 with 9 minutes left,

Not hard to figure out with just a tiny bit of reading comprehension and deductive reasoning.

Your weird tangent was taken from Artie Lynch not belonging on a list he doesn't belong on.

He was a very good TE for us minus a few plays. I didn't include tripp chandler or martrez milner because they were not.
The tangent was applicable, because it seems that you (like many in the stands on saturdays) will talk trash about someone or only focus on negatives, and completely ignore the positives.

A lot of that loss was on our old OC Yost. He decided that despite Franklin coming off an injury and still obviously not fully healthy, he'd run him 20 times. Franklin was done by the 4th quarter and preceded to turn over the ball on two consecutive drives deep in our own territory. Both turned into easy scores for Georgia.
Players like Jarvis Jones made great plays, but Yost set us up for defeat abusing his QB like that.

He had a few decent games in 4 years. I can see the positives. He also completely disappeared in games at times. He had a little over 400 yards in each of the last 2 seasons. We aren't talking next level tight end here. The guy was average..nothing more nothing less. He quite simply, does not belong on the list that would include Ben Watson or Randy McMichael or any of the above average Tight ends UGA has had over the years. Sometimes you have to call a spade a spade.
With that being said, he is a DGD and represents the program well.

Let's not forget running the fake punt on 4th and forever in our own end of the field in what I think was a one score game at the time when we hadn't had a run of over 10 yards all game.

I wouldn't say we are TE U, didn't know that was the debate. We produce good college TEs but ND, Miami, and the others you mentioned have done better. All I'd argue is UGA usually has one of the top group of TEs in the SEC.
Yeah some UGA poster earlier in the thread called UGA TE U to which I said those others would disagree. I would definitely say that UGA is the TE U of the SEC over the last decade. No one has been as consistent as you guys in the conference at churning out quality TE's.
If Bielema can somehow turn us around and stay at Arkansas for awhile, it will be interesting to see if he can take that title from you guys. He put something absurd like 6 TE's in the NFL during his 7 years at Wisconsin. Every starter during that span went on the to the NFL and Pedersen will go this year.

Probably because he's not at the level of play we were looking for... simple as that... move along no story here.

By the way, at 6-4 220, he is probably going to be a big, slow WR (which is where most of the H.S. footage I've seen of him has him playing) or he is going to need to eat a lot of biscuits and gravy to be a TE.
Man, I love me some biscuits and gravy

I'm with floyd here. It wasn't the one pass. It was other passes and the fumble vs UF and the miss block vs Mizzou that led to a defensive TD.
Dude loved UGA and gave his all but I have a sour taste left in my mouth when I think of Arthur Lynch. I don't place him in the category of Matrez Butterhands Milner or Tripp IDGAF Chandler but I don't think of him as highly as the rest.
