I was hoping he would go somewhere worth a shite. He's a good kid and deserves better than that.

Grambling is the absolute worst. Through administrative corruption they've managed to steal every dime that is supposed to go towards facilities. They even blocked the installation of a weight room flooring upgrade because the bid didn't go to some guys brother in law (the flooring and installation was being donated). That incident, in part, led to the players striking a few years ago.

I don't know why any kid would choose to go there for any reason other than no one else offered them.

I would've expected someone of Freeze's moral fiber to keep working with the kid and help him develop. Guess not though.

Good luck to Devante. I had high hopes for him coming out of high school, but between Bo, Chad Kelly, and Shea, we've been very luck at QB so he never was going to get any playing time. Hope he does well at Grambling.

He got some decent offers out of high school and ends up at Grambling. Did he regress that much at Ole Miss?

Won't disagree with this at all. He had sec potential and would have started all This year if not for Kelly. His mobility in our offense is what got us excited.

He never really got a chance to show us just how good or bad he could be. Not his fault we brought in an NFL caliber QB.

If he was half as good as his Instagram makes him out to be, he'd be playing for a Superbowl right now.

He'll get to play Southern in the Bayou Classic which is always televised no matter how bad their records are.

State fans are trying to hard in here especially with the moral fiber comment. Guess the Scientology aspect didn't help your QB who transferred a while back to Middle BFE Tennessee State. How quick people forget the stones & glass houses saying?

You mean the nephew of the former NFL star who had the attitude and off-field issues he refused to improve on? Tell me about what kind of similar issues Kincade has. Could definitely explain his transfer to Grambling.

I guess Mullen couldn't save his soul, or develop him into a better person and quarterback.

Mullen could've and would've developed him as a QB to his potential if he was willing to let him. As far as saving souls, that's more of Hugh's thing so too bad he didn't sign with Ole Miss. Maybe he could've been in a small group with the Nkemdeche boys and turned his life around sooner.

Nah our coach just doesn't try to charade around as something that he's not.

Very true, what you see is what you get with Muffins. He is just a straight up arse wipe. So much so that players do not like him and he has a hard time retaining coaches

I'm glad we've got the Ole Miss fans to keep us in the know on all things Mullen.

Mullen elected to AFCA board of trustees
