And I'm pretty sure he got flagged in the state championship game for just obliterating the quarterback

Just look at those two games, especially the Under Armour game. He was swapping out with Brooks and Brooks looked a lot better in that game. Again just saying why they didn't give him the 5th star.

Dylan plays better downhill and is a good pass rusher himself. He can get lost in space right now in coverage where his elite measurables are an asset rushing the passer.
I agree with this completely. He looks lost at Mike at times. Can't question his physical tools but I don't think he's close to be a college mike. Especially in Sabans 3-4.

Well to be fair to Allen he did get hurt during the week of practice. He only played a couple series in the game and got a sack.

You just answered your own question. He played in the wrong game.

This. If 247 is partnered with the AAA game, then they are most likely going to give bumps to participants in said all American game

Do I think 19 prospects are better than Wilson now? Absolutely not.

It's sad, but true. I think ESPN is to blame because they started this ridiculous trend back in 2008.

Fair or not, the rankings were more even across the board before the UA game started.

#18- Tadarian Moultry (Auburn)

I was pissed we got beat out for Benton but Moultry has more than made up for him. Excited to see where we use him next season

#3- Alex Leatherwood (Bama)

I was one of the aubbies arguing hard that Ashley was better than Leatherwood at beginning of cycle. Was very wrong. I still think Ashley is talented but Leatherwood looks ready to play now. He's gonna be a good one

I just think it's hilarious that he's fallen from #1 to #32 in 2 years

I bet you do

I also bet that if he was committed to and enrolled at LSU you'd be saying something like, "that's bull shite. Moses is probably the most freak athlete in this entire class. He went against top talent at IMG and in the all star game and proved he's among best players in this class"

Josh Myers will probably have one of the bigger falls. He played in a run heavy offense in high school and his pass protection skills are way too low to be regarded as a top 10 prospect. He has the measurables for sure, now it's learning a technique he just never had to do before

It's why the composite is the best. It balances out all these sites latent biases. Like you said ESPN will favor kids who play in the UA game, 247 will favor kids who play in the AAA game, Rivals will favor kids who go to Bama, and no one gives a frick about Scout. They balance each other out at the end of the day.

how did this effect, if any, the team rankings?

It hasn't affected it yet because they are currently uncommitted, but the two huge jumps by Henry Ruggs and LaBryan Ray will boost Alabama's class a lot when they sign.

Are these accurate? Meaning on 247, not the composite, the rankings say they were updated yesterday but are different from what you have listed.

Edit: I see they put these in the comments. My bad.

The 5*'s have been released. The top 247 hasn't yet.

I'm assuming the rest will be done today?

Do they update the composite team rankings at the same time as they release the 247 so they can roll them both out together? Or do they release the 247 so everyone talks about that then put the new team rankings and composite rankings this afternoon?

That's what they said yesterday.

Rivals typically updates everyone outside the Rivals250 the day after its release (they usually have another 30-40 four stars outside of it) so even if 247 updates the Composite as soon as they release their final rankings it probably won't be completely up to date until tonight.

And, of course, we still have the rankings of Scout and ESPN to look forward to sometime before NSD.

They should be out this afternoon. But like Saint pointed out- ESPN and Scout haven't completed their final rankings yet. The 4 outlets that factor into the composite score: 247, ESPN, Scout and Rivals.

Scout is releasing their final Scout 300 today.

ETA: A guy on the LSURb is saying ESPN has updated their rankings too, but I can't confirm that.
