Not sure why anyone would have sour grapes on our end probably the best news UA fans have heard in a few days. We thought we would sign and place by actually tying up a spot but now he just freed up a spot so now we have room for both Solomon and Mathis.

Well.

Akial Byers is going to qualify after all.

He visited Missouri last weekend and is scheduled to be in Athens this Saturday for Georgia's Spring game.

It appears he no longer has a spot at Alabama unless he goes the JUCO route (which he appears unwilling to do and I can't blame him).

Best of luck to him wherever he ends up.
