I remember a time when USC had three 5* LBs committed and 2 of them flipped on signing day

This kid MAY be a Buckeye. Use of "will" implies an absolute that simply is unknown at this time. Saban should have an in-home with him next week. Let's see how things stand after that.

If he goes to an OSU, good for him. Really would like to have him at Bama, but it isn't like Bama is struggling for LBs right now.

Our 09 class, still gives me nightmares. We had Vontaze Burflict, Jarvis Jones and Manti Teo (silent commit). Burflict flips to ASU, Manti shocks our staff and picks ND. Jarvis hurts his neck his freshmen year and transfers out to UGA. That would've been an incredible LB class.

Anything can certainly happen, but he's currently trending Ohio St I think Hank's CB reaffirms that notion.

agree with that. I'm just of the opinion that it isn't over until Saban gets that in-home visit next week.

In response to bbeck's stupid post: Not true! The good ones go to the NFL regardless and you gumps just get a lot of them. How did Kwon, Debo, Minter, Sheppard, and Riley do it? And Beckwith this year!

Not looking it up, but what was the highest draft position of those players? 2nd round? 3rd round?

The reason kids got to Bama to play LB is not b/c that's the ONLY place you can get TO, but b/c it is the BEST place (in SEC at least) to get you drafted 1st round at LB (McClain, Hightower, Mosley, soon to be Foster, etc)

And you would admit OSU sends a ton as well. Dating back to hawk and JL an recently with Lee and Shazier, with McMillan going this year

I'm sure the majority of the recruits just want to get drafted. The only players that probably really care about the first rounds are the ones going in the first rounds. Their draft position entirely replys upon them. Yes, they have a better chance to get drafted at Alabama. But they also have a good chance to get drafted at OSU. Clemson. FSU. LSU. Auburn etc.

That's a bit of a stretch just because you disagree with my opinion

LSU has had their fair share of LBs get drafted. I was not discounting them one bit.
