Scares me a little that Ole Miss, UK and Vanderbilt are all recruiting at levels significantly higher than normal. There goes a number of easy wins for us

The "insiders" at USC's 247 site are fricking terrible. This has gotta be the ninth or tenth time in 6 months they've called it for us and been wrong.
Well done, UK. Stoops has given y'all new life. And I can't hate on a kid for wanting to stay home and change things. If our big time players hadn't done that a few years ago we wouldn't be where we are today. Good luck.

I can't speak for the others they got wrong, but in this case I think Barker played things pretty close to the vest right up to the end. And you all had been recruiting him for quite some time. It wasn't a stretch to think Stoops and Co. wouldn't be able to make up the ground that Joker and Co. lost with Barker by not even giving him a look.

I had a guy pu out his phone and showed me a text from his daughter after I told him of P Towels tweet. Why you think this no big deal, well the daughter is the Stoops baby sitter (UK student). He asked her in text if the "Connor HS QB was going to committ". She replaid in a pissed off reply "OMG, yes he is coming. Heard Coach Stoops giddy on commit. Can we talk about something else?"

I think Chris Clark at Gamecockcentral.com (y'alls rivals.com affiliate) is one of the best in the business. Can't speak for the 24/7 site.
Appreciate the kind words though. Being from SC I completely see the paralells between our situation now, and where you all were a while back. Granted we are much worse than you all were when Spurrier took over, and it will take time, but the similarities are there.

Congrats on the get Cats. This is why I love recruiting. You can just never be 100% sure unless you're a Clowney or Lattimore of the worlds... I went by 247 Crystal Ball projection so i wasn't the only one wrong.... We had a 4 star QB Connor Mitch last year and he had a great spring so this was more of a luxury recruit then a must have.... I wouldn't talk sh1t tho, I mean we have won like what? 11 out of 12 or something? But good get!

Congrats on being a historically bad program who finally hired a good coach to turn the tide. And only having a slightly better all-time winning percentage and two less SEC Championships then the team you're trying to talk shite about.
