As mine were to the mention that Kentucky isn't capable of pulling a top recruit from the likes of South Carolina. We've already done it once this year.

Fair enough, Snodgrass was a highly sought after recruit, but he was not highly favoring us at any point either. Our top WR recruit is Shaq Davidson and he has been all year. Also, we are going after Terry Googer really hard, and have been all year.

With his inviting the general public to his announcement, the smart choice is Kentucky since he's from Wildcat Country.

That was kind of my thoughts as well. Our insiders have been cautiously optimistic about our chances but the home team may be hard for Barker to turn down. Really want him but he won't be the biggest loss for us as we have some really good depth at QB right now. Can never have enough though

Again, we're short on schollies to give this year. If he selects us, and I actually hope that he does, I'll not hold my breath until February.

As soon as he announced that his announcement will be open to the public I figured he was coming to UK. I doubt he'd want a bunch of UK fans there if he's picking SC.

JMO but it sounds like this kid is going to UK, gonna be a big get for them if he does pull the trigger

I certainly believe so, and have for some time. I believe Derek Kief is probably next, and wouldn't shock me to see Braxton Berrios end up at UK based off what I'm hearing right now.
I certainly don't think UK, or anyone for that matter, leads for Berrios, but I do believe UK is high on his list.
