You have to admit that it looks bad no matter how its spun. Maybe there is no bullshite and it was a ruse from the beginning. I don't know but the situationis a lil off no matter how u look at it.

Why does it look bad? Did it look bad when Yeldon flipped? Alabama has a history of flipping Auburn players? Are you in Copelands camp? There are bidding wars for key players? Foster wanted to stay close to his daughter, it is not like we moved the family from florida and gave them houses, cars, dinners and suits.

What the frick is up with recruits flipping on us lately?

I'm guessing it's just 2 players in different situations re-evaulating. I would not think it's "one thing" making them flip over. But if it becomes 3, 4 per year, and happens every year or every other year, then yes, I would think something's going on or something changed in the recruiting process.

For the past 3-4 years, bama has been able to lure players there because of their "mass appeal" much like USCw in the early 2000's. It goes in cycles, so maybe bama's cycle has run its course

Saban starts to wear thin on players and coaches at about year 5 or 6. I think that is starting to take its toll now.

I think there is some truth to this.

For sure, the whole winning championships thing gets pretty old after a while. The rings get too heavy on your hand and it just takes its toll.

Tell me what you know about Saban at year 5 or 6.

Kirby Smart and Burton Burns have just been dying to get away from him since they got to Bama.

This bit has gotten old.

I think you'd like for that to be true but player and coach attrition has actually been the lowest this year since CNS arrived. And the recruiting machine keeps rolling along like it always has.

Got so old old with Trent and company that they won a 2nd NC but no Sec.c. oh well we could be fighting for 7-5.

Who knows. Who cares. Bama's got so many studs on the roster now that I'm not that interested in recruiting anymore. You know Saban's gonna do his thing.

You guys serious? Bama is the defending national champion, will likely have ANOTHER top 5 recruiting class, player turnover has been very low this year, and coaching staff turnover has been very low this year. If this is the "toll" that Bama is having to bear, then keep it coming.

You obviously missed the point.

If I were offered a job with ridiculous amounts of success but had to put up with a boss that was a complete fricking dickhead and treated you like dirt.......

and a job where I would have the CHANCE to compete for the same things and have a fantastic boss.....

Guess which way I'm leaning.
