I seriously doubt that. The largest margin of victory for either team, since 2007, is 9 points.

When's the last time Alabama lost to anyone by 18 points. I can't believean Alabama fan would even think we'd get beat that bad by someone.

I'm feeling a lot better about next year knowing this guy's gonna be in the secondary.

Alabama will be fine next year. The talent is going to be there every year, as long as Nick Saban in the head coach. It will just be the experience that will be the question in some years. I expect a year like Alabama had in 2010.

I think you will have no more than 2 losses, and maybe just one.

Is there free video of Dixon? This is honestly the first time I've heard of him.

Probably just talking about how great Alabama is and how it's 20x greater than lspoo.

I hear we had to name a star after his Gf just to get him to answer the phone

Why can't Saban develop more than one high school CB at a time? I thought most good schools only recruited JUCO's as stopgaps at need positions. Should a DB guru have to keep going after JUCO's every other year?

We've had multiple DBs leave every other year.

We've lost just as many but haven't had to resort to JUCO's. Just plug another guy in there and don't lose a beat. If they're good enough to leave early, shouldn't you be prepared for that?

It's his philosophy. He's signed an impact JUCO prospect every year he's been at Alabama. 2010 and 2012 happened to be DBs. The guys in these two classes (DeQuan Menzie and Travell Dixon) came in after three or more DBs left the program due to graduation/NFL. Alabama uses a lot of dime and nickel packages. Dixon won't necessarily step in as a starter right away, but he'll be needed in the nickel and dime packages. John Fulton and Dee Milliner will likely be the starting CBs.

It's his philosophy out of necessity, because has missed and/or failed to develop so many of his high school CB recruits. Scott, Green, Lawrence...Fulton and Washington next? I get recruiting a JUCO NT or even OL because those guys are hard to identify and develop at age 18, but a supposed DB guru shouldn't need to rely on JUCO CB's.

First off, safeties shouldn't factor in. Second, only Jackson was even remotely unexpected. You should be prepared for a senior or 5* like Dre leaving. Kid has been a projected top ten pick since he signed his LOI.

LSU runs almost exclusively nickel and dime, and are about to have our second straight top-5 pick at CB. When we lose somebody we just throw another true sophomore or redshirt freshman to the wolves and they produce.
