How are 2007 and 2011 related

They represent the two biggest oddities in BCS history. The only two loss participant/champion in 2007 and the only regular season rematch in 2011. They are related in that both were atypical years, but the winner of the game ultimately proved they deserved to be there and that they were, in fact, the best team in the country.

Some questioned if LSU deserved to be there in 2007, but they were up on OSU by 21 very late in that game and removed all doubt that they were the best team in the country by the way they dominated the scoreboard.

Some questioned if Bama or Ok St should be in the game in 2011, but Bama removed all doubt that they were the best team in the country by the way they dominated the game and scoreboard.

They are absolutely similar in several ways

That's a new one. That's great. I appreciate the lengths you guys are willing to go to make yourselves feel better about that arse kicking.

If you can't separate the fact that those two years are not comparable, I can't help you

What other DBs because all Ive seen was Morris Claiborne and like I said before dude you can base your DBU off of those two guys or whoever else you wanna include but we have more 1st round pick DBs, we have DBs that have helped take their teams to the Super Bowl, we had noteworthy DBs prior to Saban, and not only do we have a case for DBU, but we have a case for RBU and LBU. You have your opinions dude and I have mine at the end of the day, we gonna have to agree to disagree

Therold Simon
Ron brooks
Eric Reid
Jalen Collins
Ronald Martin
Mo Claiborne
Rashard Robinson
I could keep going but it's no point

Agree to disagree but first round pics doesn't make you DBU. I mention those two because nobody you mention from BAMA is in their league. It's facts

Hypothetically everyone helps their team get to the super bowl it's a "process" you should know that being a BAMA fan "the process starts here"
Practice squad players, back ups etc they all play a part

We also have db's prior to les miles and some I didn't even name who were also under miles.

I can't name a BAMA db who is a star or who has lived up to the hype out of college. Cyrus jones might be the best out the bunch when it's said and done

How are they not comparable in the end we had a bigger case for going to the championship game over you guys, we lost to the #1 ranked team, you guys lost to #17 Kentucky and unranked Arkansas. If you believe we didn't deserve to make it to BCS game but you guys did when you lost 2 games and we only lost 1 then you are being an unobjective homer.

In your opinion what does make you DBU then because you gonna need more than just PP7 and Honey Badger to stake that claim also I could name Roman Harper, Rashad Johnson, Antonio Langham, Landon Collins, and HaHa Clinton Dix to counter the same guys you named but it is what it is.

but we have a case for RBU

This hinges on the success of D Henry and if he busts out.

If he busts out: it will just be another in the long line of HT RBs from Bama that amount to well, average...

Henry is your last stake to this claim though; and if he busts, that claim is in serious jeopardy, young man.

Exactly we can agree to disagree like you said because we can go tit for tat on other players but all in all what seperates LSU db's from BAMA db's will be those two because no one in the league in the secondary from BAMA are in the conversation with those two. I don't have to do better because those two or top 1-2 arguably at their position in the league.

But this a good peaceful debate

No way does Derrick Henry's future affect the RBU claim. The last two RBs to ever win the Heisman came from Bama and you must have forgot about the year Yeldon had and the years Ingram been in the league, but you can believe what you wanna believe dude I can bring every fact possible to this conversation and you still gonna have your opinion on Bama

Thats how it should be dude, the board has amounted to nothing but a big shite flinging contest on who can get the last word. Like I said we can agree to disagree but it should never come to insults

All of your RB's have been average.. Just like your DB's. Yeldon was meh. Eddie Lacy is still fat. Mark Ingram is good (can be great but gets injured). We all know Trent Richardson is about to get his HOF call soon now that he got cut by the Ravens.

"RBU" is on life support
