We will be a player for Lodge in the end ... Baylor will be tough to beat though... When Sumlin accepts the Dallas Cowboys head coaching offer in January a lot of this stuff will sort itself out.

This is pretty cut and dry. He saw the depth chart(2 stud FR, 2 Stud SO right now). He saw the other commits & Aggie leans. He wants to be sure he plays right away and not worry about getting beat out. It doesn't mean he sucks.
