Can't say I'm surprised. When Texas offers an in state kid, not much else matters.

Now the kid is going to the Big XII to drop into coverage and protect against the pass 50+ times per game. It just doesn't make any sense. And yes Texas will likely turn this kid into a DE. I would love to have him as a MLB in the SEC but he has been one mixed ball of drama. Hate to say it but this kid fits in perfectly with his soon to be teammates in Austin. Pre Madonna all the way



I hope Aggies (and other SEC fans) don't think playing in the SEC is going to help people steal recruits from the Horns. Texas has pretty much always been able to get the in-state guys the want, and that's unlikely to change soon.
