You never know who the big winner is until there play and contributions can be assessed.

So bama now has zero CB commits.

Not true. We have Bessent's teammate Chris Williams still committed. We are recruiting him at Corner now, actually have been since October.

Alabama fans want him to flip over to Auburn, correct? At least that is what I have read.

Their (Chris Williams and Kalvarez Bessent) Twitter conversation was pretty interesting yesterday.

Yeah, interesting indeed. How does a kid who hasn't been on campus since camp know "what it's really like" at Bama? Sounds like he was either slow played by our staff or that he has bought hook, line, and sinker in to some bullshite.

And for the record some expect Williams to flip, but most expect him to go JUCO.

I don't think anyone wants him to flip to Auburn, they just want him to go elsewhere so we can use that spot for someone rater higher.

I, however, saw his Senior highlights this morning and I want to keep him. We originally wanted him to play FS, but he played CB this year. Here is the film:

This kid is long and athletic with excellent ball skills. I believe his ranking has a lot to do with his grades situation. It's been fairly common knowledge among the 247 analysts that he has a lot of work to do in the classroom, a la Marcel Dareus and Eddie Jackson. If his grades are in order he will probably move up in the final rankings.

It's been said that Williams is a huge Alabama fan and that he is the reason Bessent committed to us back in March.

b/c recruiting is one of the biggest d*k measuring contests on the internet... it's literally one huge ego boost/letdown that's year round.

nothing rustles jimmies like CFB recruiting.

Awwwwww shite. Dis gonna be just like end of 2010 season. Alabama kidnapping kids and shite during their commits visits to other schools. iPhone 5S's about to be in huge demand in East Alabama.

Things are trending upwards with Tabor. It's not the pipe dream most thought it was earlier this year. His parents like Bama. It was thought earlier in his recruiting that FL was a likely destination, but he had a very meh OV to them last weekend. So, not a guarantee obviously, but promising nonetheless.

Tabor was never some big Florida lean. He talks a lot, his camp talks a lot, and over the past 3 years like 15 different schools have been his "top school".

Unless something drastically changes in the next 3 weeks he goes to Maryland.

That is not the vibe at all being sent out by the BOL writers. Also, creeping on Maryland's 247 site made it seem like your writers aren't very confident.

True, I've read all the reports on BOL. I just think for the most part Charles and the others are predicting Bama because they need corners and well its Bama and Saban needing to beat out Maryland.

Just seems awfully similar to the same stuff we heard with Diggs and to a lesser extent Gray and Ngakoue last year. I won't ever feel 100% confident about someone when we are up against Saban and Bama but Ill be pretty shocked if he doesn't throw on a MD hat at the UA game. Well see soon enough I guess.
