Harper is getting bumped to a 4* by Rivals and will "comfortably be a 4*" from what the nat'l Rivals guy said on the AU board. But yeah there's no shot we finish with the #1 class.

This is some good progress from AU. I hate AU, but it puts pressure on UA now to exceed in basketball (though Pearl hasn't gotten to where he wants AU yet). I'm liking what CAJ has done so far with Bama this off-season, but we know with Pearl two hours away, there is no rest.

Ummm no? We just think it's improvement from Grant. I'm guessing somethings wrong with that? I should be a pessimistic bammer.

Literally the only similarity between the two is skin color. Complete opposites in both personality and coaching style.

Avery may not be Jesus but he is the truth.Got his first 5-Star today won't be his last.SEC will feel his presence. By the way SEC west is undergoing a serious basketball upgrade right now.Kentucky will be challenged from here on out.

Avery Johnson and Buck Johnson also played together in Houston one year. I have heard Buck talk quite favorably about CAJ.
I'm not going to say Jamal Johnson is a Bama lock, but hiring Avery Johnson definitely gave us a bump.
