re: AU fans - how you feel about Trooper now?

Ron has said several times that Trooper isn't respected or even liked by a large group of coaching circles. A lot of me believes it too.
1. Malzahn had every reason to keep Trooper around if he thought anything of his coaching ability. Trooper could have single handedly kept the fall out of this class to a minimum and yet Malzahn still told him to pack his shite.
2. Two other teams assembled coaching staffs in the SEC this year and neither of them took advantage of Trooper's in with a lot of high profile recruits. To me this also speaks volumes.

I wasn't here for all of that, and sometimes you have to step back and accept the truth. It is obvious he is phony as hell. You want to believe in the best of people especially when they are a high profile coach at the school you love. Way big time bummer to hear this.

Noooo, he's pretty much the POS everyone thinks he is and he's proving by doing this kind of thing. Anyone can be a great guy when things are going their way. True colors start coming out when people face a little adversity or in this case get their feeling hurt.

I brought a rumor over to the AU recruiting thread back in December of 2011 regarding Trooper Taylor's involvement in the recruitment of TJ Yeldon to Alabama.
I think you may have even seen it and commented on it at the time, but I'm not gonna go back and dig that up.
Anyway, the word going around was that, at the time, Trooper was headed to Arizona State, and knowing he was gonna leave after NSD, pushed TJ to enroll at Bama rather than AU. I also believe it had something to do with sour grapes about being passed over for OC, but I'm not 100% on that.
Do you have any knowledge of the situation that would be able to say one way or the other about that rumor's validity?

Maybe Troop knows of some shite coming down the line at Auburn. Is everyone just assuming it's sour grapes?

I posted before that my brother in law (AU grad) is a banker in Auburn and has had multiple dealings with Trooper.
He is one of the biggest Auburn homers I know but he thinks Trooper is the biggest piece of shite to ever step foot in Lee County.
He was the only AU fan I know - in real life or online - that had bad things to say about him during the 2010 season.
I won't get into specifics because he's family and I don't want to get him in trouble but let's just say there's a good chance that Trooper should be in prison, not just unemployed.
