dude is a pretty good back, not gonna set the world on fire, needs to redshirt and gain some momentum. Wish he was good enough for our system, but wish him luck for sure ... as said above.

This late in the year, that's a good pickup at a position we need to get better at. Hopefully we can land Crawford too.

Like I said. We'll see how "good" he is after he develops for a couple of years. He's got great size and speed.
He met never play for us, but he's got good skills to work with and be a quality back down the road.

Comes from the same high school as Michael Dyer. Plays 5A ball and his squad went 12-1 this season.
Their conference in 5A isn't the toughest, but it isn't too bad of competition.

Looks like Mizzou just flipped Markell Utsey from Little Rock Parkview. Was committed to Arizona.

Now that one is a real reach for y'all.

Mizzou raiding Little Rock. Don't they know that LR schools are a hot mess at best.

Mizzou's recruiting ranking was in the low 50's this morning. Odom better do something quick.

He's the #5 rated player in Arkansas, but I see you guys haven't offered.
He just didn't really fill a need. We have a better speed back in Hammonds and a better overall running back in Whaley. There are probably years we would have offered, but not this year.

McClellan played for the state championship. Against another LR school, albeit a private one.

Hammonds is easily the best RB in the state but yeah Crockett just came through in a year when he didn't fit a need here. Especially after we landed Whaley.
I have always been curious as to where he stood on our list because they were primed to offer Ragas and Crawford next if we had missed out completely on the big 5. I think we the fans might have had him higher up our boards than they did on the actual one that matters.
I know I wanted him to pair with Hammonds and now Whaley but that never seemed to be the case as to what was actually going to happen.

If you're talking about the sub-7A division that was made specifically for the LR schools to have a chance at state titles then I'm not impressed.

Class 5A covers pretty much all the state in territory.
So does 6A, so I'm not sure what you are talking about.
But wasn't worried about impressing you in the first place.

Which is beyond stupid. When Farmington is having to travel to Little Rock Christian and Harrison to play conference games, you have too may divisions.

Congrats. A lot of Arkansans wanted CBB to offer. Hope he does well at Mizzou.

I would think a chance to play in the SEC would be appealing. Also a chance to stick it to Arky for the next 4 years probably doesn't hurt!
Well, I hope not, because we all wish him well, but I know that's how it usually works. FWIW, I believe he's related to LSU commit Devin White and Arkansas receiver Jared Cornelius, so the SEC may be a family thing.
Btw, I don't know high school football in Arkansas anymore, but still feel pretty confident that Little Rock has the greatest collection of talent in the state, so don't let the naysayers fool you. Other schools tend to dominate the state nowadays, but they don't do it because they have greater talent.
