I agree with AJ.... Recruiting and NSD has become a money making clown show... You have grown men following high school players on twitter, I mean come on how ridiculous is that..these kids come into college thinking they're already the heisman in waiting...

Not sure what entitlement has to do with stopping a running game or not letting a guy return a FG.

So you're not motivated to play your archrival in one of the biggest rivalries in sports for a chance to go play for the national championship?

Looked to me like Auburn's coaching staff made way better halftime adjustments than Bama's staff.

We fought a sense of entitlement all year. I know, because it felt like 2008 and 2010 all over again. All the talent in the world on both squads, but lack of overall leadership when it mattered most. It happens when not enough guys buy in.

The biggest problem is these guys don't know what the word "commitment" means, it seems. Instead of going on visits and meeting with all the coaches, they want to make a splash early. I understand when things like coaches change because love it or hate it, coaches matter to these guys. Other extenuating circumstances like being offered by your favorite school or a dream school very late unexpectedly also is understandable.

personally i think the coach should look at complete game film. and for a kid that they are high on they should look at the season to see both the highs and the lows of that players personality on field

Tell me again how your team wasn't motivated to play a top 5 matchup against your archrival with a chance to go to the NC on the line. I like that one.

I don't understand his beef with the recruiting services. It's like he's blaming them for recruits getting their big heads. Those recruits earned their accolades. What, does he want them to underrate the high schoolers so that they come in with a chip on their shoulder?

There's no real solution to his problem. It happens. That's the cycle all successful teams go through.

Was it the Freshman and Sophomores that let bama down or was it the upperclassman ? If I remember correctly, both sides of the ball had a high number of Jrs and Srs.

Well there was a sophomore that dropped a sure touchdown, and a sophomore who couldn't get a yard on third and fourth and one. That same sophomore had a critical fumble in the Sugar. That being said it was a junior who had the worst discipline on containment (Hubbard).

Not to mention the OL that could not block for that Soph or a DB that bit on a run. A SR LB that took himself out of a play on a long run by the opposing QB or the Sr Kicker who could not hit a chipshot FG. That is just the AU game.

You're right AJ those young guys folded like a deck chair the first time they had a little pressure. Oh wait, that was you.

He probably did fold under pressure a bit. Of course, as an Aubie you would be an expert at identifying folding under pressure. Giving up the biggest lead in BCS history and breaking the streak
