He's eliminated USC. Announcing Dec. 17th with the Final 5 of ASU, Auburn, A&M, UCLA and Ohio State and will be enrolling early.

Recently I thought USC was going to get him but then Keith Niebuhr gave an update saying AU's coaches believe his top 2 are ASU and AU and they're cautiously optimistic about getting him. Also, A&M's WR coach and Recruiting Coordinator just left so I'm assuming that will have an affect on him.

What are y'all hearing?

Advantage A&M, whose starting QB is also from Arizona.

It's A&M or ASU most likely.

A&M feels good. He has a great relationship with both Kyler Murray and Kyle allen

FWIW he explicitly said this wasn't an issue

Kid could get all the playing time and passes he is capable of handling at Auburn next year. We will likely pass the ball much more with Jeremy Johnson at quarterback and we could be short on experienced receivers if both Dhaquille Williams and Sammie Coates both turn pro

Good selling point but that doesn't mean he's picking Auburn.

Didn't necessarily say he was picking Auburn, but it would probably be the smart choice between A&M and Auburn

I think he stays home and picks ASU

SC was feeling really good with him, so it was a bit surprising that he eliminated us. He was supposed to have an OV this weekend.

In a radio interview here in Phoenix last week, they talked ASU & PAC-12 mostly with him. Got the impression he was ASU bound. He talked a lot about ASU's offense and coach Graham.

Wouldn't surprise me to see him go to ASU, but I would assume they talked about ASU because that's the direction the conversation was slanted. No one in Phoenix cares about A&M or Auburn

It's A&M or ASU.

A&M or ASU. Could go either way, but it's trending ASU. We could use him, because we've missed on a lot of WRs lately. He would start immediately.

(When I say we've missed on a lot of WRs lately, I mean we've got some highly rated guys who haven't panned out. Speedy and Reynolds - who was not highly rated - are the only sure things on our roster.)

I believe the guy who predicted Auburn was the first guy who said USC was out and Arizona State was a bigger threat than most people think. Maybe he knows something nobody else knows

Welp looks like Auburn's coaches were right. ASU 247 site now says they also think it's down to AU and ASU. Still likely ASU though

He'll go A&M before he goes Auburn. Don't think 247 is accurate on this one besides saying ASU.
