Does he remind you of Dorial Green-Beckham?

It had to be the performance against Houston.

The Dad wanted him @ Texas. The Dad gave text book answer that a father gives to the question about crazy local fan retaliation towards his son.

Or Middle Tennessee State.

Or Memphis.

Wingo is not like DGB and there is very few that will ever come out of high school like him. DGB was a generational talent that should have been a high 1st Rd Draft pick if not for his immaturity, childhood problems, and legal troubles. Even though he had legal troubles and took a year off from football with his talent he was still picked 40th overall in the draft.

His size, speed, strength, route running, and hands made him one the top high school WR’s of All-Time. After his Senior year he was the 1st WR named national player of the year. His Senior year he had 119 receptions for 2,233 yards with 24 touchdowns. He held the national high school overall record in receiving yards. He was Rivals national player of the year after his Junior year. He was named the Gatorade Missouri Track athlete of the year. He was All-State in basketball and led his team to a State Championship.

He had a rough childhood him and his six siblings were in and out of foster homes. When he got to high school his foster/adopted parents gave him stability and guidance that helped him get through high school. His past family problems and the diagnosis of his younger brothers(Darnell)Leukemia sent him in spiral that he has not recovered from. Darnell was a 3* WR that was committed to Mizzou and could have helped him, but he put off college for a year. Without his family he was lost

Watching him in person was like watching a high school Senior playing against Junior High kids. He looked like a DE playing WR.

DGB could've just as easily been a #1 pick at Edge/WLB. Total freak athlete.

He is a kid. Anyone that hates on a kid for making a decision obviously has nothing going on in his or her life.

I do wish him the best. He made the best decision for himself.

I don’t see it because of our stacked WR room next season and he wouldn’t be getting the targets next season he would at Texas, but he’s certainly making the burnt Orange sweat by delaying his NLI wire.

What did he say that was hypocritical? He was describing what happens.

Sucks when teams can’t deal cash illegally under the table anymore and have to fight other unis with rich fricks that’ll spend when it finally is legal.

Oil money doesn’t go as far in this landscape.

According to Wingo’s dad, Texas is still the only NLI deal he got.

Now that’s a crock of shite. There’s no way one of the best WRs in the class only had one bag thrown at him.

I think it's more hypocritical that he's bitching about NIL when Mizzou lobbied the state govt to pass legislation so high school kids could partake and incentivize kids to stay in state.

If you're referring to his comments from this morning, he said NLI, not NIL. Meaning Texas was the only one to send over an NLI which I do not believe just like I don't believe him "sleeping" this morning is the cause of the delay.

Drinkwitz is talking about teams that show up recruiting a player in the last two days with bags of cash. Not teams that have already been recruiting players.
