I just always found the notion that he wouldn't be able to recruit a bit of a reach. The guy has such a great personality, played/coached in the NBA, and is just a well known guy in basketball circles.

I think a lot of people question how much he can get connected with the NCAA though since he's been NBA forever. At that point it was about hiring assistants who can get him the inside roads he needs.

He actually has many AAU connections on his own, but hiring Pospichal was a very wise move as well.
