What have I said that wasn't right ?

You can go look up any of the 100 or so threads on that topic to educate yourself. I've had that argument enough.

Basically, recruiting in Georgia and Louisiana are not really similar situations. Trying to compare the two as if it's apples to apples is stupid.

Well, my head is spinning. With Taj, the news of a Murray silent, and Cowart naming us as his leader has me believing this could be our best cycle ever.

The Ducks: we're here, we're queer, get used to it, SEC!

Which little speed back might that be? Are you talking about OMac? If so Yeah speed backs can do just as well in the SEC if used right.

Weird. Guess Pruitt just didn't want him.

People wouldn't be making comments like that if your entire fanbase didn't flip out over the hire and start talking a/b locking down the state, dummy.

What does this have to do with you coming in a thread that doesn't involve USCe or you in anyway and talking trash?

Y'all would have flipped out too if roles were reversed. We were lucky that Louisville wanted to play Grantham 1M a year, and we hired the DC from the reigning national champions.

What does that have to do with Taj Griffin?

I can't believe I'm going to have to explain this but USC plays UGA once a year. Your recruiting failures contribute in some way to our success. Taj Griffin committing to Oregon means I don't have to see Taj Griffin returning kicks in Williams-Brice.

And if that were the case you'd be perfectly w/in your rights to point out 6 months later that our predictions of locking down our state and going on a recruiting rampage were just a taaaad exuberant.

Schadenfreude is a beautiful thing.

And I can't believe you've sunk low enough to have to talk trash on the recruiting board.

So it's okay for UGA fans to point and laugh at USCe fans because SOS has not brought them a national championship yet?

It's April. A little early to declare victory or defeat in recruiting. Taj Griffin had nothing to do with Pruitt anyway, and who could blame him for wanting to avoid our depth situation at RB?

But flame on, I guess

"Sunk low enough?" Are you being even remotely serious?

Of course, just be prepared for USC fans to point out that no one under 34 has seen UGA win a championship either.

Exactly. These kids aren't even doing you the service of pretending to waver before they commit out of state.

This convo extends beyond Taj.

Good recruiting assuages those concerns. See: Alabama.

Yup, sure am.

Doesn't seem like a wise thing to do for a USCe fan but let's not let this thread travel further down that road.

The only guy we've lost so far that really hurts is Edoga. That's it. The rest of UGA's top targets are still realistic possibilities, and Edoga is too, really.

Unless the two things the prospect cares most about are scheme fit and early pt.

But go ahead and flame on

It will take several generations to erase the stain I've put on my family's honor by calling out UGA fans on their masturbatory recruiting fantasies on this hallowed board but somehow, some way, we will persevere.

Hey, whatever you gotta do to distract from the present.
