Guess this mean AL won't be getting Richmond?
Prince is a LT. Richmond is a RT. Numbers would be the only reason they affect each other. Richmond is still visiting the 30th and if Custis and McGraw flips or we gray shirt bell/anderson then if he wants in we would take him. Think he sticks with ole miss though

Man, haven't seen those 3 OL classes detailed out like that. What a steaming pile of doo-doo. No wonder we had such issues.
I hope the midwestern kids we signed get some PT here soon.

Nice pick up! Few months in the weight room and he'll be up to 300 in no time. I'm no coach/scout or anything but I have always liked the OL that have the right frame and just need to add weight. Though there are exceptions.

They are directly tied together.
Bama was waiting for a call to see if Richmond was gonna visit after Ole Miss did an in home visit. Leaked that he was likely to use that visit date for UT instead of Bama.
Later that night, Mario Cristobal took a commitment from Prince during his in home. Prince wanted to commit on campus, but they told him he couldn't due to numbers and wanted him to actually reschedule his official to the 30th. Said they couldn't give him a for sure answer until that point.
They were waiting on Richmond, saw they were out, and pushed for Prince...

Apparently CVO & the other Prince are gonna reclassify back to the 2016 class. Too many academic ??'s currently for both. Should be the best thing for both of them & the schools recruiting them.

I have seen the CVO reclassifying talk but this is the first I've heard about Tega doing the same.

I think the way 247 does their rankings, once you reach a certain number the values of additional recruits is decreased by a percentage. I would assume it's from allowing teams to have the highest ranking by simply having the most recruits (looking at you Tenn).
I'm not sure why they'd bother. They can rank by sheer numbers, rank by average rating, and rank by a metric combining the two. Seems pointless to build in a fail-safe just to keep the rankings from being susceptible to overloaded classes.

Stoutland can coach OL like his life depends on it. He was amazing technician there. But couldn't recruit at all. We had so many bad evaluations and misses. But the last two classes have made up for it for sure.
Did Stoutland build the 2012 oline or did the 2012 oline build Stout? Chicken and egg situation for sure, but no amount of coaching was going to change Shep into Fluker or Arie in to Warmack or Kelly in to Barrett.
I think we have one more year of subpar oline play before we get back to complete dominance.

Well Arie finished as an AA so that's pretty damn good
But going from fluker to Shep was probably the biggest drop off in talent we've seen under saban
