Pretty sure he won't qualify.

Our mods are saying that he is a big long shot to qualify. Not sure if that means we have moved on, as we still have Rico's spot to fill if/when he flips. If we have another decommitment I could see him being a sign and place at a prep school.

Apparently when your class is this strong already, a good OT is only worth 2.5 pts.

I think the way 247 does their rankings, once you reach a certain number the values of additional recruits is decreased by a percentage. I would assume it's from allowing teams to have the highest ranking by simply having the most recruits (looking at you Tenn).

Cristobal has his OL depth now. I expect a better product than the last two years.

I know this is controversial because he coached the 2012 oline, but hiring Stoutland may be one of Saban's worst personnel decisions (aside from keeping Bobby Williams ). Stout left the cupboard bare because he couldn't recruit.

That's ridiculous. Crazy OL class, I guess some of those guys don't care about the depth chart and just want to play for Bama.

yeah, our oline recruting in 2011, 2012, 2013 is as follows

2011
Aaron Douglas: Died
Cyrus K: Was ok for 3 years then left
Ryan Kelly: will be 3 year starter but is undepowered
Isaac Luatua: perennial backup, will never contribute

2012
Brandon Greene: converted to blocking TE
Caleb Gulledge: gone
Brandon Hill: did not qualify

2013
Leon Brown: very meh, big but weak, penalty machine
Brandon Hill: qualified this time but transferred
Grant Hill: could be good, will probably start next year
Bozeman: took a grey shirt, but was given full scholarship. will likely start next year somewhere

lots of misses and meh. 2012 is really what killed us last year. we ended up with 4 decent linemen in 3 seasons of recruiting

Stoutland can coach OL like his life depends on it. He was amazing technician there. But couldn't recruit at all. We had so many bad evaluations and misses. But the last two classes have made up for it for sure.

Wonder how he ended up in the Army Bowl instead of Under Armor being the top ranked guy in Maryland.

If he stays in 2015 it won't matter. He will be re-recruited because he won't get in anywhere. Doesn't have enough credits to attend a university. Barely has enough to get out of HS only from equivalents from Nigeria that only HS accepts not colleges.

If he reclassifies to 2016 then he will be a big time recruit.
