LaBryan Ray Highlights

He jumped over 500 spots in the latest rankings on 247 today to #44 overall. He has great size at 6'5" 285 pounds and looks elite on film.

His profile page lists offers from Alabama and Arkansas at this time. All 3 CBs are for Alabama.

Anyone hearing anything about him?

DrewD thinks he's one of the best he's seen in a long time, for what that's worth. Man, he fits our system perfectly. Perfect Saban-sized (in before midget jokes) 3-4 DE. He plays close to where I am, so I'll plan to go see a couple of his games this Fall.

I even watched Monty Rice's highlights just so I could see more of Ray.

Ain't no smoke, this dude is legit.

Reminds me a bit of Shaun Ellis back in the day, before Big Katt got a little softer in the middle.

I'd be happy to land Monty Rice too. He's a good looking player.

Muschamp offered him already.

There have been a lot of Rice boys and girls play ball at Bob Jones. Must be the new generation of Rice folk yo.

Where the heck is james Clemons? I'm in Huntsville and have never heard of it lol. Anyway I think he is elite athletically but doesn't show much technique wise. When he gets the technique down he is going to be unstoppable.

It's the second high school in Madison, formed after they split up Bob Jones. You really haven't heard of it?

A few years back bob jones was the largest HS in Alabama. Had like 6,000 kids right? Didn't know they split it up. That was also before they added the 7A classification. It used to only go up to 6A. Depending on the amount of kids enrolled and what class you want to be in. I think the rule is you can go up in class if your school board elects to do so but you can't go down a class if you have a student population that is too high.

Nope never heard of it lol. So much going on with these school closings and rebuilding. I bet jack doss has to love the fact that Johnson and butler will be one school. Will be lots of talent.

Jack Doss is one helluva coach. James Clemons is Madison's second HS. They needed it about 10 yrs ago. Bob Jones was crowded when I went there in 97 (which was the first year of that new school). JC like a college campus. Pretty ridiculous.

No, more like 2500 and trending up but the 9th grade kids were at the middle schools before JCHS opened. The kindergarten class in Madison was twice the size of the graduating Seniors the year JCHS plans were finalized. They knew they needed another high school.
