Seriously, good pickup for you guys though, he going to for sure be a S or a smaller, quick ILB for AU?

Safety or Star. If he keeps growing possibly a LB.

His ideal position is the Star. I think he is going to be a thorn in UGA's side for 4 years. Very nice pickup

He's an interesting case for sure. Started out ranked lower in the state than his offer sheet might suggest, but has climbed to #18 in the composite as of now.

Lifelong UGA fan who we didn't offer early and continued to slow play until it was clear that AU was his preferred destination. A lot of theories out there as to why: tweener (ILB or S), grades, other safeties higher on the board (McGraw, Roundtree). Only time will tell if our coaches played it the right way or dropped the ball. As of now, it's a good look for AU, giving them their first top 20 player from GA in this cycle.

Making things more interesting from here on out are his quote about UGA in the AJC article from a couple of days ago and his familial relationship with UGA WR commit Christian Owens. Both could stand pat or both could wind up at the same place.

Still a long way to go on both their recruitments. If we don't get Roundtree or lose McGraw, I'd expect us to really cut the heat up on him again.

He used to be. He's gotten a lot better though. That "inside info" shite he used to pull got pretty annoying.

He just turned 17 today, he will grow. I think they will work him at Safety to begin with. He has a body at 6'-03", that will add 20 lbs with ease, and not lose any speed. A lot of kids want to play Star though, it would be fun.

sorry for bumping but I think it's safe to say he's pretty solid to Auburn

Yeah I though Colbery would potentially waiver, but with everything I've read the last couple weeks combined with the fact that he's good friends with Matthews: it's over.

We're getting Roundtree so I'm ok with that trade off.
