Are you guys still after Justin Crawford? He's another JUCO back who's supposed to visit y'all this week and make his decision after that

We don't have him on our list to OV right now. We offered him last week, but then we got the commit from Jones, so I don't know if we're pursuing him or not.

FWIW I read an interview that said his OV to Mizzou went well, but it def said as of yesterday that his plans to give USC an OV this weekend were still on.

I liked him a lot. If he stays out of trouble, I think you'll be pleased with his contribution.

I certainly liked Jones coming out of HS, with UGA only having Holyfield on board surprised Smart did not make a run at him. Kirby probably thought the risk was too great with what went down at Bama, he very well could be the gamecocks starter week 1.

We cancelled his OV here this weekend, we're rolling with just taking 1 JUCO RB, Tyren Jones. I think Crawford will be visiting WVU this weekend.

Yeah, about the Lattimore thing. Probably just more of a positive influence on him,

I'm glad your football program is using Lattimore. (I assume in a paid position) He was a great running back and by all accounts a good person. Classy move by SC to take care of him.

Well now it is being reported that he hopes to enroll this summer. He just has to wait until he finishes this semester out at JUCO.

STOP THE PRESSES!

At least this is getting entertaining. The plan was for him to enroll this summer anyways, I'm not sure what 247 is reporting.

I bet Auburn wouldn't have turned him down if they knew at the time that Peyton Barber was going pro. Tyren Jones will be a very successful running back for USC and probably start day 1.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that he enrolls this May. He's not going to be able to sign until then.
