So much fail in this post. Alabama is apparently going to receive a commitment from QB Travis Waller tomorrow. He's the #36 player overall on 247 and #79 in the Composite. Nice try though.

You Gumps sure were laughing at the thought of Dormady to VOLS about an hour ago on the Bama board.

I think Ainge screwed up his big moment. Had he not said anything it wouldn't have made his commitment seem like a let down.

Yeah. That was before the Waller news dropped.

I like Dormady. He's probably going to be one of the top steals in this class.

I just like Waller more.

Nice pickup though.

Just give up Vols, no matter what happens a Bammer is going to try to get a moral victory out of it

You're right. Didn't have a committable offer, of course

No he absolutely did. He just picked butch for whatever reason. No worries. Waller is legit. Hopefully we can pull him. Quit being so bitter.

Oh he had a commitable offer. I have yet to see anyone say he didn't.

But when you have a higher priority guy possibly committing in the next 24 hours you tend to go after them.

I don't get the anger here. You got a quality player tonight. Enjoy it.

I'll enjoy Waller's commitment tomorrow night. Maybe.

This is the first time a Vol can celebrate a victory over Bama in a long, long time. You boys have fun and good pickup.

Moral victory? Your LSU brethren were the ones calling it a "victory over Kiffin". It was inevitable that someone would respond. Dormady was clearly offered, but I don't think anyone is sweating it if Waller commits tomorrow night.

Why would a dual threat QB choose Bama?

The ol' "Bama didn't want him anyway".

Just like clockwork.

Alabama isn't taking two QBs in this class.

Waller is higher on the board.

How is this so hard to comprehend?

Waller has had an offer for over a month. Dormady was offered 6 days ago. When he got the offer the CB predictions came flying in for Alabama, including one today.

Something happened in the last few hours to change that sentiment. All of the picks this afternoon Waller today have been to Alabama.

Why are you butthurt? You should be jumping up and down because Dormady to Tennessee increases Auburn's chances at Gibson.

Has me puzzled...

I was expecting a highly rated pro-style quarterback.

He's rated as a DT, but a lot of the 247 guys think he fits a Pro-style offense well.

Gibson needs to go to AU. TN dodged a bullet unless they were moving him to WR.
Torrance Gibson to Auburn is most logical now, IMO. Ohio State and Tennessee now have quarterbacks, and even though Auburn also has one, that has never affected his stance on Auburn.

Personally, I want us to continue recruiting him as a quarterback, give him a shot there and if it doesn't work out, move him to another position. He is a bona fide playmaker in every sense of the word and can make an impact at wide receiver or safety. He might even be good enough to make a transition to cornerback if his hips are good enough (though that may be reaching).
