I just talked to him and asked what's up next. He said no visits are planned, just a 7-on-7 tournament in Jacksonville. And I stand corrected -- he's about an inch shorter than me (I'm 6'3") and I'd guess in the 210-215 range. He's not nearly as big as Cam Newton or Jeremy Johnson, but like I said previously, he is really bulking up and by the time he graduates he will be even bigger.

And to be fair to LSU, they have had several QBs go to the NFL during Miles's tenure.

Cam Cameron is working with his second/third QBs while at LSU. The first, Mett, got drafted and could be an NFL starter week 1 in 2015. I don't think Jennings is a pro prospect, but Harris has the potential.

really didn't matter much, anyway.
I can understand this, as it would make the transition much easier. However, if he has NFL plans, the offense at AU is not the pro-style offense NFL teams prefer. Harris has 3 years left, and Franks will be in here in 2016.

This may have been true in the past, but the NFL is beginning to adapt to the ideas of spread/faster pace offenses. More and more high schools and colleges have adapted to spread/hurry up concepts and eventually more NFL programs will as well. To say a QB has less of a chance to make it to the pro level in a non "pro-style" college offense is absurd and dated.

The NFL is taking concepts sure. But what will always hold back a tempo QB early in their NFL career is that when they get to the league, they have to learn to communicate the play calls to the other 10 guys. No more 7th grade science project poster boards telling everyone what to do.

Yeah if I were a betting man I'd put my $ on LSU since it's the easy, logical choice... but I wouldn't rule out Auburn or a school outside the SEC such as Oklahoma State, Oregon, or Baylor. He likes them all, just waiting for offers...

I wouldn't put too much emphasis on his mother wearing an Auburn hat, but I would put a lot of emphasis on him stating in the previously-posted video clip where he said if he was choosing today, he'd choose Auburn. I just think he's waiting for the "right" school to come along. Yesterday someone from Notre Dame contacted him and he perked up. If Oregon or Baylor or another offensive juggernaut offer, look out!

Maybe ones that played for Saban.....understandable.

But LSU, imo, is a great school for a good & smart QB.

AU is cultish and will always be lil bro to Bama.

Best of luck on his decision though.

You are aware that LSU fans are routinely near or at the top of "Worst Fans in the Country" lists, right?

No, please inform me

LSU fans are passionate & locations love when we come to town.

Ask Dallas, Omaha, Seattle, etc.

LOL -- keep telling yourself that. Just because they travel well to top venues and spend a lot of $$ does not make them passionate fans. LSU fans are widely-known for leaving games early, and turning on their own coaches and players. They are regarded as some of the crudest and rudest in the country. Think I'm just being judgmental? That's fine; don't just take my word for it. Here are three "Worst Fans" lists that LSU appeared on -/ they were #1 on one of them. And trust me, there are plenty more where these came from.

Yeah, you're right. I guess you're right, and everyone else is just "hating" on the classy LSU fan base.

I went to LSU for grad school. But to think that LSU is regarded for having "the best fans" is laughable. While I think the gameday atmosphere is second to none, there are many many LSU fans who are downright obnoxious and embarrassing.
