Lol go play for Les's usual shite show at QB or go to the guy that produced a number one overall draft pick.

Surprisingly, many people, including some former LSU players, have advised him not to go to LSU.
Must be those die hard LSU fans that think trashing their alma mater will someday make it great.

Miles haters.... a different breed.

The biggest factor imho is how Brandon Harris turns out the next two years. If Lowell sees Harris become a top QB in the sec. You can pretty much say Lowell will stay in state. Harris too was between LSU and Aub, but he felt Cam would have him NFL ready. If Cam delivers on Harris's development. Lowell ends up in Baton Rouge. His former qb coach has to be in his ear.

How do you figure that he would be a great fit at Clemson and then come back and say he wouldn't fit at any school in the sec but Msu, you do realize that Clemson runs the same type O that auburn runs right. And he would fit at Msu, auburn, Lsu, and ut and probably ole miss

My reasoning has nothing to do with the system they run. I don't like him at Auburn primarily because everything he does will be measured by what Cam Newton did. As far as LSU goes, I just don't care for their offensive system at all, not do I care for the fairweather fan base. Apparently someone hinted to Jr that Coach Cam may not be around much longer, either. I just really would like to see him go to a place where he can make a name for himself, a top school that has come close to winning it all but hasn't. MS State was the first that came to mind; maybe South Carolina would fit the bill, too. Georgia already has a 2017 QB. He also told me that LSU has been the only school pressuring him to commit right now, even though he's made it clear that he will not make a decision until after his JR year, and I think that's rubbed him the wrong way.

I guess negative recruiting can work on naive people.

Well, you've gotta remember that he has a lot of connections, through his cousins Corey and Chad, who both played in the NFL. When they talk, you listen. After this past weekend I'd say Auburn is the definite leader. He likes how Auburn is telling him that he's "their guy" and to take his time with his decision, whereas LSU has been saying, "We're looking at 3 or 4 guys so if one of them commits first, you'll be left out."

I don't have to remember shite. His "connections" are just pushing their agendas. Hearing from someone that's openly trying to push him to Bama that LSU's coach might be leaving shouldn't hold any weight. But hey, listen to them when they talk because they played in the NFL.

Well, I will say that there have been multiple former LSU players who have told him that if he wants to play QB that LSU probably isn't his best option. His family is not "pushing" anything on him at all -- they are a very close-knit religious family and they have made it very clear that it's his choice and his choice only, and they will support him no matter where he goes. He's a smart kid with a good head on his shoulders and I'm sure he'll choose the school that he feels is best for him.

Oh, and btw -- neither Corey nor Chad were the ones who told him about Coach Cam, and he said that really didn't matter much, anyway. He just wants to play in a system that is similar to what they run at St. James.

Perhaps I should have worded it differently. Corey has connections to Saban, and Chad had connections to Clemson. Neither one are pushing anything on him. Not sure why you're so hostile and butthurt about it. There are many other pieces to the puzzle.

I talk to the kid and his family members multiple times per week. He chose to go to Auburn's spring game over LSU's. I've stated how they all loved their visit to Auburn. If you watch the scout video linked in this thread, he also says he would pick Auburn if he had to make a decision today. Not sure how that equals 50-50 or makes Auburn and LSU co-leaders, but ok.

I can understand this, as it would make the transition much easier. However, if he has NFL plans, the offense at AU is not the pro-style offense NFL teams prefer. Harris has 3 years left, and Franks will be in here in 2016.

Yeah he should go to LSU because they have produced so many successful NFL quarterbacks under Miles
