Alabama could've had Kwon Alexander. But, as an undersized linebacker (at the time), he didn't really fit what Nick Saban was doing on defense, IMO. I don't really know the reasoning behind Alabama passing over him.

Alabama would've had Roc Thomas if it wasn't for Auburn, but they seem to have dodged a bullet considering he hasn't even done anything at Jacksonville State. Seems like a bust, all in all...

Didn't Auburn and Alabama pass over Trae Elston?

Yes. I used to work with Trae's grandfather. He was set for Auburn, but they passed on him.

P.S. It feels damn good to finally start getting these instate studs on defense. T. Williams and Davidson are key parts to the big turnaround on D this year.
