Just to point out how out of touch you are with this...he doesn't even go to MLK anymore, and when he was at MLK< he was committed to USC or had USC as the favorite.

I know he just transferred. He's still an MLK guy, and MLK has sent far more players to UGA than anywhere else.

What's out of touch is thinking that the in-state childhood favorite doesn't have a shot with almost a full year until signing day.

Unless these 4-3 rumors are true, there is no way in hell Rivers lines up at DE in a 3-4 set. He’d have to put on 40-50 pounds, that’s not happening. I can maybe see Mehki, but he is in a similar boat except he has the frame to carry the extra weight. But he is dead set on Rush LB. Although he’d be better suited at Sam, since he has the strength to engage blockers and the speed to cover the sideline.

Rusty Mansell ?@Mansell247 11m New UGA Commit Chauncey Rivers measured right at 6-3, 247 lbs with 80" wingspan Saturday per his coach. #Top247

So, I'd say he should easily be able to achieve 260-280 which is all he needs to be an every down DE. That wingspan is unreal.

Chauncey Rivers was a star at the Under Armour Combine and saw his stock soar in the new Rivals250. We have the big movers here.
