And you guys have 1 debatable national championship which probably puts at least 20 teams ahead of you there as well. It's funny how y'all act like LSU football was terrible before Saban, yet you can find us well into both of those lists.

LSU was on those lists in 1999, at the close of the worst decade in the program's history, and before Saban was hired. Cholly Mac didn't have the title resume or winning percentage of Miles, but he did still win a lot of regular season games over several years, and did get the one SEC title.

I don't think you're helping your case here. I don't think anyone really considers Arkansas a top 20 program right now and going forward, and it may even be a stretch to say that y'all are historically.

Well, he said "historically", so you're not helping your case by saying "right now" or "going forward".

And congrats on finding one of the few lists that doesn't include Arkansas, but unless you just pulled that one out of your arse, I'm sure you know that most do include Arkansas.

Not many would say with a straight face that you guys ever overachieve.

Besides the obvious big one name 1 program that overachieves? On what base are they excelling? And how does losing 5 games every other year surpasse achievements? I don't get this line.

It's pretty simple. LSU has many more advantages in football than arkansas does.

Using strictly the measure ables that you guys use to determine strength of the program, i.e. recruiting rankings, arkansas should never win more than 6 games, but we often exceed those numbers.

If you flip that around, LSU should never win less than 10 games, but you guys often do.

Arkansas doesn't recruit on the same level for many reasons, but the biggest reason is geography. It's also state population. There aren't enough subscriptions to be sold here to warrant the rankings. I think it's easily proved if you go back and look at arkansas' classes when ranked after 4 years.

Arkansas still manages to play with 2 of the "powers" in the west at a near .500 clip, and leads the series with everyone else in the division. We can say, along with everyone else, that we can't get over the hump on Alabama since 07.

I want one of you guys to explain the advantages arkansas has and why we should ever expect to have a winning record in conference or ever beat LSU. I think in that answer you will find what I mean by over achieving
