Linebacker is the one position I out very little emphasis on raw ability. It is an extremely, extremely instinctive position. You're either a line backer or you're not. Having a nose for the ball loving to hit people and going up against lineman every other play... I will take a 2 star 5" 11 215 pound middle lb that dreams about knocking motherfrickerscout before some random dude that "projects"bad a lb with better measurabls

Alabama offered as an H-back today.

Brian Perroni from the A&M site CB'd to Bama shortly after.

He could very well end up at Alabama, but all our out-of-state commits are predicted to go elsewhere, unless they have no other major offers. I've seen 247 predictions 100% for another school, even though the player has repeatedly said he favored Arkansas before eventually committing to Arkansas. Some of them have come after the player said he favored Arkansas.

My honest opinion is that Alabama is the only school that really worries me with Harris, because he's very loyal to his word. He's already visited Oregon and I'm not convinced that he'd switch to LSU or A&M this late. But Alabama is a different animal, especially since they're offering at H-back, so I wouldn't be shocked if he switched.

However, I wouldn't be one bit surprised if we're also talking to him about playing H-back and he's more likely to see the field at Arkansas at either position.

How do you know he is very loyal to his word?

He has had Divinity begging coaches to give him a scholarship, and he hasn't wavered one bit. It looks like the only way Divinity will be able to play with Harris is as a Razorback. Harris appears to be solid to the hogs

Why all the talk about Harris wanting to play offense then and Bama offered on that side?

There was no talk of Harris wanting to play offense prior to the Bama offer. That's just suddenly appeared since the Bama offer and folks are running with it.

Because he played multiple positions in HS and Bama offered as H-back of course it becomes gospel around here he wants to play offense...

The same way I know anyone is loyal to their word. He does what he says he'll do.

There's been all sorts of discussion about him flipping to another school during his recruitment, but every time he's been asked about the possibility, he says he's 100% committed to Arkansas. He also seems to really like our coaches and many other things about Arkansas. He's never given me reason to question if his commitment was solid.

You do realize you're talking about a high school kid. They tend to be a little unpredictable

Yea, it's uncommon for high school kids to be loyal to their word, but that seems to fit De'jon.

First off lsu is stupid and dumb to not offer my child.. But we are not worried about it anymore he'll play at Arkansas and finish whooping lsu. He's very upset they didn't offer him early that was his dream school with Mike! By the way, he got offered Lb/Rb not Hback from Bama!"
